Martin Schoeller
, the New York based photographer best known for his tight portraits or "Close Up" series, remains at the forefront of the photographic community. Working on both commercial and personal projects, Martin continues to produce masterful portraits that have gained recognition for their strong visual impact. A talented photographer and humble man, Martin's career has evolved from unassuming beginnings. After high school, a friend urged him to apply for photography school in Germany. Of 800 applicants, Martin was one of forty students accepted and after graduation, moved to New York City to pursue his photographic career. From 1993 to 1996, Martin worked as an assistant to Annie Leibovitz. In 1999, Martin was named one of three contracted photographers at The New Yorker and, while continuing to shoot for them and other major publications, he has also been pursuing his own photographic interests. Currently, he is working on a new collection of portraits focused on female body builders. Martin's work has appeared in Rolling Stone, GQ, Esquire, Entertainment Weekly, and W, among others. He has also completed major advertising campaigns. Martin's first monograph

Jill Greenberg
, born in Montreal, currently lives in Los Angeles. Over the last fifteen years, Jill has made memorable images of many of the world's most recognizable celebrities, in addition to creating a recognizable filter of vision itself. An early adopter of digital effects, Jill has developed a world that is more intense, more razor-sharp, let's say supra-real, than the one in which we actually reside. Jill creates portraits that seize our attention, that create an altered universe staring back at us. Her most recent series, "End Times", combines beautiful, poignant imagery, impeccably executed, with both political and personal relevance. Jill's subject is taboo: children in pain. She utilizes this uncomfortable image as a way to break through to the pop mainstream and participate in a growing national dialogue of the real dangers facing this country and world. Jill's images are sharp and saturated, stunning and quirky; her work is soaked with realism and imagination. This new work has already hit a national nerve. For the series "Monkey Portraits", Jill has created a series of monkey portraits and asks us to consider, in another way, where we are coming from. We look into her monkey's expressions, their faces- their peculiar physiognomy- and somehow see ourselves. It is frightening and disorienting and exhilarating and awesome. She mischievously shows us another type of mirror-stage, where we confront an ancient and distorted reflection, another startling spectacle, and try to make sense of who, or what we are seeing. By intentionally anthropomorphizing her monkeys, we can't help but identify with their gaze, and be reminded of people we know, expressions that we have seen before. Jill has a diverse range of clients such as: Target, Microsoft, RCA, Compaq, Polaroid, Dow Jones, Anheuser Busch, Pepsi, Coca Cola, Paramount Pictures, MGM, Sony Pictures, HBO, Disney, USA Networks, Time, Newsweek, Entertainment Weekly, Wired, Elle, Interview, Radar, and Vanity Fair. Jill syndicates her portraiture through August at

Jill's book called Monkey Portraits was published by Bulfinch. For fine art work, Jill is represented by ClampArt in New York and Fahey/Klein in Los Angeles. Her work is collected and exhibited internationally.
Giles Revell
was born in Sawbridgeworth, Herts in 1965. Giles lives, works and exhibits in London. Giles' work is influenced by seminal fine art and conceptualism, producing graphic, ideas-based imagery. In addition to a very pure photography and the 'traditional' nature of recording light and subject, Giles is renowned for manipulating not only cameras but esoteric equipment fused with digital software methods. His subjects are diverse and span passions for Nature - its force and sensitivity; Form - experimenting with scale and surface; Time - a recurring theme explored for its ethereal beauty and poetry. In 2001 Giles was sponsored by NESTA, the lottery funded arts body to produce the 'Insect Techtonics' project. A series of 12 beautiful and heroic prints of insects were created using a scanning electron microscope and digital software to reveal sculptural and engineering qualities of the common British insects. The 'Insect Techtonics' show went on to travel to galleries worldwide and returned to form part of the permanent public exhibition at The Natural History Museum and several are housed at the V%26A permanent print collection. As an artist, Giles is represented by the Michael Hoppen Gallery in London. In addition to art projects and a significant commitment to personal work and experimentation, Giles continues to work commercially undertaking commissions as diverse as Mercedes, Nike, and Levi's. Giles has been awarded yearly by the D%26AD, AOP and is working long term towards a retrospective art book with a major publishing house.
Brad Harris
, based in New York, was born in the U.S. but grew up in Australia. He started taking pictures of surfers in high school and has been photographing ever since. Wanderlust brought him to New York in 1993, and since his arrival he has been photographing commercially. His career took off quite quickly, working consistently for Nike, among others. Over the years, Brad has traveled the world working on major advertising campaigns. His creative talent, collaborative approach and warm, unassuming personality have all added to his success. Brad's client base ranges from commercial clients such as Microsoft, T-Mobile, HP, Apple, Adobe, and UBS. He has worked on a select group of editorial projects. As well as working on commissioned projects, Brad spends a lot of his time working on personal projects, usually concerned with people in transition. A recent example of this is a series of portraits of boxers. The setting of these images captures the old world of boxing, showcasing the weathered characters from Bulgaria and Germany, who continue the culture of boxing in a traditional setting. In June 2007, Brad went to Berlin, where he worked on a new series of images at a local swimming hole that capture delicate and tentative moments between young kids in a period of teenage transition. This is a parallel project to one he has been working for some time set in Memphis. Brad's work will be featured at the Point of View Art Gallery in New York in January 2008.
Mark Zibert
was born and raised in Toronto and currently splits his time between New York and his hometown. After attending Sheridan College in Toronto, Zibert assisted for a year before venturing out on his own. At the age of 23 he was awarded his first big job, a national outdoor ad campaign for Nike. From that point, his life and career were forever changed. Though he prefers to include people in his work, his continued focus on conceptualization bodes well for any subject matter. Zibert's work maintains a delicate balance between visual complexity and minimalist impact. Mark has been film directing and is currently working on building his reel. Mark Zibert's portraits are syndicated worldwide by AUGUST.
